In 1961, the KGB launched Project ISIS. It is a top secret program aimed at researching alien technology.
It was the team on this project that discovered a 13,000-year-old extraterrestrial body in a tomb located in the Giza Plateau, Egypt.
In the early years of the Cold War, Russian military officials feared that the United States had gained a tactical advantage by reverse engineering alien technology, possibly by studying UFOs like the one that crashed near Roswell.
Determined to possess advanced technology, the Russians have used their intelligence services to scout several locations where extraterrestrial artifacts could be found.
One of these sites is an ancient tomb located in the Giza Plateau, Egypt. They base their search on an old legend about the “tomb of God”.
The story goes that two Bedouins accidentally stumble upon an ancient tomb. Immediately after entering it, the two men fell ill. Before they deteriorate from the mysterious illness, they manage to give details of her whereabouts.
The Egyptian authorities decided to “trade” this information with their Soviet allies. They want to reach the Tomb of the Visiting God before the CIA finds out about the discovery. As a result, the Allies quickly organized a Project Isis expedition.
A group of Soviet Egyptologists, scientists and military personnel were assisted by their Egyptian counterparts in exploring the tomb.
The scholar Viktor Ivanovich, who had access to classified KGB documents, wrote:
“There is no doubt that a small group of Soviet scientists with military experts examined a tomb in Egypt in 1961. But the documents never revealed exactly what was found in the sarcophagus.
Only the highest ranking KGB sources know that we have found the remains of an extraterrestrial being that died in Egypt 10,000 BC.’
The Soviet-Egyptian expedition reported finding numerous artifacts. According to a report by a senior KGB officer, 15 boxes of artifacts were removed from the Tomb of the Visiting God.
The hieroglyphic inscriptions were copied and translated. Among the inscriptions is a prophecy predicting the return of a “winged alien god”.
The Report also writes about the existence of some kind of protective barrier:
“While inspecting the walls, we noticed a strange repulsive force emanating from the walls. We couldn’t find any scientific explanation.”
But nothing found in the tomb is as puzzling as the mummified body of the “God Visitor” himself, placed in a large sarcophagus. The body is larger than that of an average Egyptian, and dating tests reveal it to be around 13,000 years old.
According to Egyptian mythology, the first dynasty was created by the god-man Osiris, who descended to Earth in a flying boat.
Is this a UFO reference? Has Project Isis really found the mummified body of this ‘alien god’?
Everything is a mystery… But there is video evidence of the discovery. A black-and-white video details the archaeological dig and is said to have been obtained through a Russian intermediary with access to secret KGB archives.
Watch the video.
The footage shows Soviet personnel entering the tomb without protective clothing and two soldiers lifting the lid off the sarcophagus. A cloud of toxic smoke can be seen rising, prompting the men to return for protective suits and gas masks.
The Project Isis team includes Egyptologists from the Soviet Academy of Sciences, scientists and military experts. The team is backed by Sami Sharaf, a close aide to President Gamel Abdel Nasser of Egypt.
The cooperation between Egypt and the USSR is understood when we consider the geopolitical situation at the time. The Soviets support Egypt against Israel, France and Britain and the jointly organized Project Isis, supposedly the result of shared security and defense interests.
Although it is not possible to verify that the mummified body really belonged to an “alien god”, forensic analysts have declared the video to be genuine.
To this day, the outcome of the expedition is unknown…
