Eagle-eyed users on the internet are convinced they’ve spotted a UFO flying across the sky during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations Thursday, June 2.
Thousands of people are reported to have gathered in the United Kingdom over the Platinum Jubilee long-weekend to witness the events marking the ceremonial celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years on the throne.
While the Royal Family look over from the balcony of Buckingham Palace, many people around the world tune in to watch the Trooping the Colour parade and the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team (RAF) or the Red Arrows’ spectacular flypast.
Nine planes flew in formation to leave behind a colourful trail of red white and blue smoke, which captivated audiences all over the world. However, official footage from the flypast appears to show an anomaly, which many people on the internet believe is some unscheduled activity of a 10th aircraft
A fuzzy image of an unidentified flying object (UFO) can be seen zooming across the sky behind the planes as it cuts across the coloured streaks.
The sighting has sparked chatter on Reddit after an eagle-eyed observer shared a zoomed-in clip of the aerobatic display.
Commenting on the post, a UFO enthusiast wrote: “Just watched the BigJetTV angle again, this goes WAY too fast to be a drone or balloon in the wind. I’m inclined to say this is a genuine [Unidentified Aerial Phenomena].”
Another user theorised, “…4th dimensional object passing through 3-dimentional space would look like a sphere to 3-dimensional beings.
Many have dismissed the claims of an unidentified aerial phenomena as one of our own birds or drones hovering in the aircrafts’ wake while some believe it’s a cursor and that it’s becoming increasingly clear that the entire universe is a simulation.
It seems highly unlikely that something so random would end up right in the middle of the action of an event so monumental given the security arrangements. But, one can’t authorise a higher-dimensional being’s flight.
